We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use our website. GA4 uses cookies to collect anonymous usage data including pages visited, time on site, and device type. No personally identifiable information is sent to Google Analytics.
We also use localStorage (not cookies) to remember your theme preference (dark/light mode). No personal data is stored in localStorage.
You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted authentication via Google Firebase, HTTPS encryption on all pages via Cloudflare, and restricted access to student data. However, no internet transmission is 100% secure.
Most of our courses are designed for adults (18+). Our Youth Coders Program for learners aged 12–18 requires parental or guardian consent at enrolment. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent.
AfroCodersHub serves students globally, including from Ethiopia, Nigeria, Kenya, the UK, and Canada. By using our services outside the USA, you consent to your data being transferred to and processed in the United States, where our servers are located.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify enrolled students of material changes via email. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance.
